Travelling through history: the new museum-stations of Metro Line C

Rome takes a further step forward in urban mobility with the opening of the Colosseo–Fori Imperiali and Porta Metronia stations on Metro Line C. These are true museum-stations, designed to preserve and showcase the archaeological discoveries unearthed during excavations along a stretch of around four kilometres, within one of the world’s most complex and fascinating underground environments.

Enjoy Car Sharing: New Rental Rules from January 2026

From 21 January 2026, in Rome, the Enjoy car-sharing service will switch from the “Free Floating” model to the “Enjoy Point” model. It will no longer be possible to start and end a rental anywhere within the coverage area; instead, rentals may only begin and end at specific Enjoy Points indicated in the app.

Tools: the new mural at the Piazza Venezia construction site unveiled

In the vibrant heart of Rome, where past and future meet every day, the construction site of the forthcoming Venezia Station on Metro Line C once again becomes a stage for contemporary art with Tools, the new installation by Elisabetta Benassi. It is the third intervention in the “Murales – contemporary art in the metro” project, conceived to transform the ten industrial silos overlooking Piazza Venezia into visual monuments to urban change.
